Description

"Khana khaya, gas ki chinta gayi"Ate your food, worries about gas are gone.

Bloating after every meal isn't normal — it's a sign your Agni (digestive fire) needs a spark. Eight time-tested spices come together in Hingwastak Churna to do exactly that: wake up sluggish digestion, dissolve trapped gas, and take the "heaviness" out of eating. A pinch with ghee before your meal, and your stomach finally gets to relax.

Dosha Suitability : Pacifies Vata dosha and supports Kapha balance through its warming, digestive action.

Reason to Use / How It Works

Hingwastak Churna is built around eight ("Ashta") warming, carminative ingredients — most notably Hingu (asafoetida), which has a strong reputation in Ayurveda for breaking up trapped gas, alongside the Trikatu trio and cumin varieties that stoke Agni (digestive fire). Vata dosha, when it accumulates in the digestive tract, characteristically produces gas, bloating, and a "heavy after meals" sensation — and this formula is specifically designed to counter that pattern.

Because the formula acts quickly on digestive fire, it's traditionally taken just before or with meals, often mixed into a small amount of ghee, which also helps soothe the gut lining while the spices do their work. Its consistent Vata-pacifying action is also why it's extended as a supportive measure in Amavata (Vata-driven joint stiffness linked to poor digestion) — when Agni is weak for long enough, undigested Ama can settle in the joints, and correcting the digestive root is considered part of managing that downstream effect.
